Mom's Morning Group

“Be vulnerable enough to choose joy because those who truly love you will support you no matter what. Motherhood is hard, but your struggle doesn’t have to be yours alone.” – Brene Brown

Are you feeling anxious, tired, lonely and isolated?

Being a mom is hard. Rewarding, but hard. Particularly while enduring a pandemic. Levels of isolation, fear and anxiety have never been higher. We know from research that facilitated peer support for moms is one of the most helpful interventions for battling post partum depression., loneliness and that never ending ‘mom guilt’. Hearing from other moms, learning their strategies and receiving non-judgmental support and empathy is so incredibly important.

Join Jennifer MacKinnon, Canadian Certified Counsellor and Mom, as she helps you explore your feelings, provide you with tools to manage emotions and help you find you again.

This is a six week, closed workshop specifically for moms. The goal of this support group is about empowerment, teaching valuable skills and sharing our own lived experiences with each other in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

This closed group will take place every Wednesday morning for six weeks starting on October 6.

These sessions will be from 10:00am to 11:30am. This group is not funded so the total investment is $80 for all 6 meetings.
