The health and safety of our clients and team members is our first priority. We provide in-person and virtual counselling sessions by appointment only. We are no longer a walk-in service. When booking, please ensure you choose your preferred option of either in-person or virtual counselling. Please ensure you choose your preferred method, in-person or virtual, when booking online. We offer in-person sessions on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, virtual counselling is offered Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Your session will NOT be secured without a completed Intake form.
Our team is here to help you complete the intake forms should you need assistance for any reason. Please call 780-757-0900 for assistance.
Our counsellors are trained professionals who have a minimum of a Masters Degree (Graduate Degree) in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work. Momentum is proud to be a learning institution for graduate level clinical interns. Our Team Leads, Referral Therapists, Clinical Supervisors and Clinical Director are all registered mental health professionals, licensed to provide counselling/therapy in Alberta through their regulatory bodies (CAP, ACSW, CCPA).
Sessions may be claimed through extended health plans and employee assistance plans. We provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance. You are responsible for checking with your insurer for what is covered on your plan.
Momentum counselling accepts cash, debit, email money transfer and credit card (sorry, no cheques).
Our counselling program uses a team approach to deliver counselling services. There is a team lead on each shift who determines which counsellor is suited for your needs.
As of March 2024, our counselling program does not provide counselling services to couples or families.
Our counselling program would not run without the support of it’s funders and donors. If you would like to make a donation to the program we would gladly welcome your contribution. Donations over $25 will receive a tax receipt, and donations can be made on our homepage through Canada Helps.

Counselling Services
Currently, we offer virtual and in-person sessions by appointment only. We specialize in providing Solution Focused, Single Session Therapy to those who are in need of affordable and convenient counselling and support.
