Momentum Counselling
Mental health is no longer someone else’s issue. It’s a community issue. Across Edmonton and throughout Alberta, people are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and overwhelming stress, and many can’t access the professional support they need. Private counselling often costs $150 to $250 a session, and public wait times can stretch for weeks or months. For someone already struggling, waiting isn’t always an option.
Your support helps ensure a young person doesn’t have to wait months for help, and that a father struggling in silence gets support before reaching a crisis. Momentum Counselling exists to close that gap, with a sliding fee scale starting at just $8 and no waitlists. But demand has continued to grow, and Momentum has lost approximately $150,000 in previously reliable government funding.

Tax Receipts
As a not for profit organization, we rely on donations and fundraising to provide accessible counselling services. Every dollar we raise goes directly into our programs and services. As we are also a registered charity, any donation over $25 will receive a tax receipt. Thank you for your support, and for helping us keep the Momentum!
