Working with people; to support them, to listen, to talk, to improve mental health has always been my passion. I believe as individuals we have greater strength and ability than we often give ourselves credit for. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations too overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to even know where to start.
As a therapist and registered social worker, I can help you to improve mental health, feel stronger, or move towards simply feeling better, using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Strengths Based Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, I am a Certified Menopause Mental Health Provider and can support individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Reaching out and sharing with a therapist takes great courage. I aim to honor this in my practice by providing a safe, non-judgemental space where we can build a therapeutic relationship. My practice is person-centered, rooted in the belief that every individual has strengths, is unique, and is the expert on their life.
I am committed to my field and practice, always working to learn and improve. As part of this commitment, I am grateful to be part of the team at Momentum. Our team is providing accessible mental health services to our community. Momentum is also growing the field of mental health by providing a place for individuals entering the field to learn and grow. We truly have an exceptional team!
Welcome to Momentum!

I am a Registered Social Worker and Team Lead at Momentum Counselling, where I support both clients and clinicians in creating meaningful, growth-oriented change. In my leadership role, I provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to our team, while helping to foster a collaborative, ethical, and client-centered environment. I am passionate about supporting clinicians in their development and believe that when therapists feel supported, clients receive the best possible care.
Alongside my role as Team Lead, I continue to offer therapy. I currently offer counselling through Momentum, as well as with other clinics in Edmonton and within my own private practice. Staying connected to direct client work is deeply important to me and allows me to remain grounded in the therapeutic process while continuing to do the work I am most passionate about.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, specializing in mental health, and my Master’s degree in Social Work at Nottingham Trent University in England, UK. I began my social work career in child protection and youth in care settings, and have since gained diverse experience across Canada in disability services and healthcare. My background includes extensive work within mental health and substance use settings, where I have developed strong skills in crisis intervention and short-term, solution-focused support.
I am certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and have additional training in Motivational Interviewing, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, and am currently completing Levels 1 and 2 of Gottman Couples Therapy. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where individuals feel empowered to explore their experiences and move toward their goals in a way that feels meaningful to them.
Whether I am working with clients or supporting clinicians, I am committed to fostering growth, resilience, and self-understanding. I believe each person brings their own strengths and capacities, and my role is to support and guide that process with care and intention.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, running, paddleboarding, and going on nature trips.
